    Hi there,

I'm trying to find out where to order the Optex anamorphic 16:9 lens
adapter. Does anyone recommend an online site that is a safe place to
buy one of these (for the vx1000)? I think I remember they were in the
    $600-700 USD range.

    Thanks for any help.

    Here we are in 2010!!

    Here it is 2010!!
And someone else is still looking for an Optex anamorphic adapter and where to buy one. So if anyone knows if these are still around, please leave a current link for them. The generic adapters that were on eBay are now all gone.

    Optex is GONE!!
But here is the link to the site which carries their products: optexint . com

Although it seems like Century may now be the only game in town for anamorphic adapters.

Ther's one on ebay at the moment - go search for VX1000e, sale ends today (29/3). If I win the kit I will be sellling the adaptor as I don't need it, just the VX it comes with.
