Where to find cheap CR-V3 or LB-01 batteries?

  1. A friend of mine has a Pentax Optio 33L which takes the CR-V3 (LB-01)
lithium batteries (like 2AA's stuck together) and is leaving for Europe/US
soon and thus has battery dilemma's.

The camera eats normal AA's like they're candy, but is much better on the
CR-V3's, only problem is they're $30 each at camera house.

    I can see 3 solutions
    1) buy CR-V3's and cry poor
    2) buy AA's all over Europe/US (energizer lithium AA's or similar would be
    best right?)
    3) buy some sort of 110/240V charger (do these exist? Jaycar couldn't help
over the phone) and some 1800mAh+ Ni-MH's.

Can anyone direct me to a cheap supplier of CR-V3's or a 110/240V charger,
or a better solution (that doesn't involve a different camera :)?

Kodak have a Travel NiMh charger with batteries available (not to be
mistaken for their "special" battery charger which only charges the
"special" battery that comes with Kodak docking station).
If you are renting a car, many of the battery recharger packages come with
    car chargers.
Failing those, look for an external battery pack.
All the above will involve only a once off expenditure, not on-going costs
of replacing disposable batteries (and you will be doing a favour for t he
