which utility would let me play and/or convert ASF video format?

    I got a samsung camera that is giving me hard time, with its ASF
    video files. I can not play them on a Windows XP box.
    ~
    Can I either reset the camera to produce regular mpeg files or can I
    concert the ASF ones I get?
    ~
    Are there any Linux based converters?

    Have you tried renaming the file to .wmv ?
