    Hi all,

I am finding my Sony TRV-950 doesn't allow me to get close-up shots so well.
Not macro, but groups of nearby people. Sony sells a wide-angle attachment,
VCL-HG0737X, which looks like it may do the trick. Does anyone have any
feedback regarding this piece of hardware? Is there another, posibbly
    better alternative?

    Hi all,
Try Ritz Camera. I have a 37mm "Semi-Fisheye" attachment I bought there about
10 years ago...for less than US$50. Works extremely well provided you don't try
to zoom telephoto very much....even then it just goes soft around the edges.

  3. It is the best .7X converter I've seen. I adapted one to the TRV900,
and it even works fine on this camera (on which most other converters
are somewhat soft at the edges). It is surprisingly heavy and expensive
(and not very wide), but worth it...
