Will Premiere Pro 1.5 work with Sony DCR-VX2100- Positively????

I see that the Adobe new program will work with the older VX2000, but will
it work with the newer camcorder? After visiting the Adobe forum for this
program I'm very wary about buying any camcorder before I'm 100% sure it
will capture, etc with the new 1.5 program. There are so many Sony
camcorders not on the list of compatible workable camcorders with Adobe
Premiere Pro 1.5. I wonder -- the list it has must be incomplete or the
program is very limited in exactly what camcorders it will work with. I
noted how few JVC and Panasonic camcorders work with this program. There
certainly are a lot of lower priced (lower than $1k)Canon and Sony
Camcorders not listed whether they work or do not work with the program.
Anyone have personal experience using the newer 1.5 with a Sony
    VX2100????????

    Thanks --- Randyman

  2. It would be just about impossible for it not to work. It's a Sony.

Why would you say that? I guess you have not looked at Adobe's
compatibility lists for what camcorders work with Premiere Pro 1.5 and which
don't. I'm asking about a specific model Gary.

Thanks for top-posting, made the thing easy to read.

My Sony camera isn't listed on Adobes site, but it works just fine with
    Pro.

That's nice Bob. You should have left a note at the forum site for the
compatibility lists; so, Adobe could add your camcorder to the lists. It
    would have been a nice thing to do for other folks. Even in your post here;
you should mention what Sony model you used and with what "version" of
Premiere Pro. Lots of folks have an expensive piece of software that does
not work with their specific camcorder. It sounds like Adobe should be
working harder to check out different models of camcorders (esp. newer
models) to see if they work with the software. It's really stupid of Adobe
marketing not to be working on this aspect of the product. There are really
very few Panasonic or JVC camcorders listed.

I would like to know of someone working with the model I mentioned in the
subject line using Pro 1.5 specifically.
