I always wanted to buy a wireless kit like the sennheiser ew 100 eng with
the wireless lav and sugarcube plug on, but am not sure if now is a bad time
    to buy.
Should the 700Mhz spectrum auction and the 2009 shutoff of analog TV signal
    affect wireless microphone choice?
In other words, if I were to buy a wireless system in the 700 Mhz range
(band C), would it suffer more interference in coming years, or less?

There have been several interesting discussions about the loss
of spectrum for wireless microphones over on the production
    sound newsgroup: in recent months.

IME, cell phones are killing off wireless mics before loss of
    spectrum does. :-(
