WooHoo. I sold my first photo.

Discussion in 'Photography' started by \(not quite so\) Fat Sam, Oct 22, 2007.

  1. Recently, I took some of my shots which I'm most proud of, and had some art
prints made up from them, which I then listed on ebay for a few pounds each
to see if they would sell.
I checked my ebay account today to find that I've sold a few.
This calls for a celebratory beer.

First you say you have sold one then you say you have sold a few, so what is
    it to be?

I'll be amazed to see these photos.

Well, all I can say is "Well done!"

I'm sitting here sipping a very pleasant Hunter Valley red. I've had
an extra sip just for you.

  9. Sounds most pleasant indeed.
I treated myself to a pint of Arthur Guinness' Finest Falling Down Juice.

But your view is irrelevent - whoever has brought them presumably
likes them, if 'Fat Sam' can tape into what the British public want in
the way of photos good luck to him.

Sounds great. Where can we see some photo samples or an image of the
    one you sold?

I dunno why you guys want to see thing sold on eBay? Last time in the
news (TV, Radio, and Internet) I heard/read paid $$$$ for some celebrity's
public hair, and regular hair, they pay good $$$ for some famous (or serial
killers) prisoners' belonging etc. and media tries to get the law to stop
prisoner to have the right to sell their stuff to public.

So, you too can just photograph something to sell on eBay and I woudn't
care to ask what you sell <bg>

Unfortunately selling one average photo isn't as good as selling 100 good
photos. Yet every fucker is doing it these days and is ruining true
    photographs.

So people like the "substandard shite" more than your work? Does that
