Don't you love it when you get an unexpected good result.

I've just projected some slides from an airshow a few weeks back.
I had Velvia 50 in the camera plus a zoom at the 90mm end, I was just
using up some film so I could put in a faster film and a 500mm mirror
    lens.

What surprised me was just how bright and good the shots were on Velvia,
with the polariser I must have been using an equivalent of 25ASA for
action shots. I mostly took pictures of aerobatic teams such as
the red arrows. The pictures have a real '3d' feel.

Unfortunately this really showed up the shots with 800ASA print film
and the mirror lens, they were closer up but dull.

    Can't have everything,

    Pete
