    I own a Panasonic LZ20 and I bought a Toshiba 2gb SDcard. I tested it
today. I took a picture, it shows up on the LCD, but when I try to download
the image XP says there is "no supported memory card". I'm going on a trip
tomorrow! Any ideas? I can't find anything in the manual about formatting
    the card.

Does you memory card support memory cards of that size? Some older cheap
ones don't. You may need a new reader. If you get one make sure it can
handle the new SDHC cards as well so you don't have to worry about them when
    they get cheap.

I had the same problem, the older card readers can't handle more than 1 gb
    cards.

While many older card readers don't support >1 GB, they can often be
made to with a firmware update - visit the manufacturers web site. The
computer manufacturers site if it is a built in reader, or Sandisk or
whomever if external. Worst case scenario is you buy a new external
card reader; they're cheaper than lunch these days.

The SDHC spec has only been out for a year or two, you may need a new
    card reader.
