Seems like for the prices they charge they could afford white paint.

Seems like a lot to pack around - I don't think my laptop computer weighs
    that much!

  6. Actually most of the pro lenses come in white as well, but like the Canon
    lenses, it looks damn ugly

  7. LOL! I didn't say it! I was keeping my mouth shut on that one since I
think I got that white elephant just about sold.

  8. You could be right. I have a funny feeling I will adapt. I just wish the
weather would get a little better so I can take it out for a test drive.

Wow, I didn't know they could stack shit that high!

Please, stick with the Panny FX01. Even that's more than you need.

I wish it would improve here, too. Five 'snow storms' recently and we
still don't have a decent snow cover. I'm really chomping at the bit for
some ice fishing and snowshoeing - will definitely be out there grabbing
some pics when/if if finally arrives.

    Yeah, and Santa's bringing me a 1DsMKIII, and a 600 f/4IS, and a 85 f/

  14. Oh Boy, do I envy you !! My wallet's a little skinny .... live in South
Africa. My cousin works in New York and kindly brought over a D70 body
for me shortly after they came out. Was planning on using all my
unchipped lenses with it. I wasn't a happy puppy but am now content with
    my Sigma 18-200 OS HSM.

    Some pictures from yesterday :

I carry it around all the time and followed a fire truck over the sand
dunes and happened upon this crash. From what I understand, everyone got
out ok barring some cuts and bruises.

If you want to offload some glass at some stage .......;-)

  16. See, I told you if you were a good boy and held your mouth just right good
    things would dribble your way....

  17. If you have to ask you'll never understand. All I know is I'm going to be
    enjoying it.

  18. My first dSLR was a D70. The D70 is still a decent camera. I don't know if
there are benefits to living in the US anymore? Sometimes I would rather be
somewhere else like you lucky guys.
I'm glad everyone got out with little harm and walked away. They were very
lucky. It's always good to have your camera at hand, that's how you catch
    the best action.
    LOL! One day..

  20. Other than the two most obvious reasons of wanting and I can there are other
financial and tax benefits as well.
